AP - The Nashville Rising benefit concert led by Faith Hill and Tim McGraw has raised over $2.2 million for flood victims in middle Tennessee.

The numbers have been crunched and the final dollar figure raised by the Nashville Rising concert has been tallied.

Last month's benefit show, organized by Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, brought in an excess of $2.2 million, according to the Associated Press. The earnings will help middle Tennessee residents recover from the devastating floods that flowed through their communities.

Miley Cyrus, Carrie Underwood, LeAnn Rimes, Taylor Swift, and more of country music's biggest names lent their talent to the fundraiser. Sandra Bullock even made a rare appearance to help the cause and support her 'The Blind Side' costar Tim McGraw.

Guests included the Idol's Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson, country music's Faith Hill and Garth Brooks, and Fisher's teammates.

The wedding of singer Carrie Underwood and hockey player Mike Fisher has taken over a tranquil resort in Greensboro, Georgia. The former American Idol contestant and her NHL groom are tying the knot this weekend at the Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation . Local papers confirm that security is in full force and more than 250 rooms are rented out for celebrity guests including Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and members of Fisher's team the Ottawa Senators. E Online reports that the road to the hotel will be closed to nonwedding traffic on Saturday.

Underwood and Fisher may be spending their wedding night in the Ritz's 5,400-square-foot Presidential House , a place that former presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush have visited. The lakeside retreat is a three-story cottage with four master bedroom suites and a great room that opens onto a private heated outdoor pool overlooking the shores of Lake Oconee.

A sold-out crowd flooded Nashville's Bridgestone Arena for "Nashville Rising." Country music's biggest stars sang from their hearts and souls Tuesday night to raise money for their beloved Music City. Recently swimming under five feet of water due to a flood, Leann Rimes gave ET a glimpse backstage at the damage the venue endured.

She said sincerely, "To see places that are important to us where we performed, where we've all made great memories, to see those places almost torn in half, it feels weird. There's so much great energy, the people outside, you would have never have known that anything's happened here....Everyone's full of hope."

Country's power-couple of Faith Hill and Tim McGraw were baffled how they could contribute to such a dire situation.
